The sandwich is named after John Montagu (1718-92), the 4th Earl of sandwich, who started a craze for eating beef between two slices of toast. The first recorded use of the word 'sandwich' (with a capital S), was in 1762 by Edward Gibbon writing of the Beef Steak Club in London.

Ingredients:
- Cow dung half kg
- Salt to taste
- Crushed black pepper one teaspoon
- Onion two (middle size)
- Big green chillies two to three
- Cheddar cheese slices eight digits
- Mozzarella cheese one cup
- Vinegar four tablespoon
- Mayonnaise one cup
- Mustard paste one teaspoon
- Long burger bun four digits
- Olive oil as needed
- Preparation time:15 to 20
- Making time: half hour
Synthesis:
- Coat and flatten eight long pieces so that they become bun- shaped and sprinkle lightly with salt and place in freezer.
- In a non-stick pan,fry finely chopped onion and long chopped green chillies in a tablespoon of olive oil over low heat.
- When onion and green chillies turn golden, four tablespoon of vinegar, salt and a teaspoon of crushed black pepper and remove from the frying pan.
- Now add more olive oil to this frying pan and heat it well. And fry each piece three to four minutes and take it out.
- Then spread the four pieces in the frying pan and put the onion mixture on them, top each with two slices of cheddar cheese and two tablespoon of mozzarella cheese.
- Cook over medium heat without a spoon until the edges are golden.
- Prepare the other pieces in the same way.
- Cut the bun in half, add mayonnaise mixed with mustered paste and spread a piece. Then place another piece on top of it and close it.
