Chicken Tawa Masala Full Recipe
Chicken tawa masala is generally cooked on roadside dhabas on big tawa.Variety of chicken dishes can be cooked at home, such as Bhuna Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Do Pyaza etc, but chicken tawa masala has little different preparation than other chicken recipe.
Chicken tawa masala is essentially considered restaurant food.
Chicken tawa masala recipe is the famous Indian chicken dish of Punjabi cuisine. Marinated and roast Tandoori pieces are cooked in spicy gravy and homemade garam masala powder. This dish goes well with hot Indian Rotis and butter Naan.
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings 250 grams
- Chicken hearts and livers 250 grams
- Chicken stomach (pota) 250 grams
- Garlic (chopped) 2 teaspoon
- Onion (chopped) ½ cup
- Tomatoes (chopped) one cup
- Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
- Red chilli powder one teaspoon
- Red chilli (crushed) 2 teaspoon
- Hot spices powder one tablespoon
- Green chillies (chopped) 5 digits
- Fresh corainder (chopped) ¼ cup
- Fenugreek leaves 2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice one tablespoon
- Salt one teaspoon
- Cooking oil ½ cup
- Green chillies, Fresh cream, Ginger (finely cut) for sprinkling
Synthesis:
- Heat oil on the stove,add two tablespoon of chopped ginger and fry it.
- Then add 250 grams of chicken wings and 250 grams stomach and fry.
- When their own water is dry,add 250 grams of chicken hearts and livers and cook more.
- Add ½ cup of chopped onion,one cup of chopped tomatoes, ½ teaspoon of turmeric, two teaspoon of crushed red chilli and one teaspoon of powdered red chillies and one teaspoon of salt,cook with its lid covered till chicken stomach are tender.
- Add these ingredients one tablespoon of lemon juice, fenugreek leaves two teaspoon, fresh cream and cook for 10 minutes more.
- Garnish tawa chicken with green chillies, fresh corainder, ginger and serve.
